If you are on the site. You already know.

so since i never want this to be about me and all about the people that made it possible and the people we serve.

a thank you to my mom and step-dad is not nearly enough. They were there in STL the whole time while i was going through the shit. They were my lifeline. They are my life line. Much love.

When I told Nathan that I would be writing his “about me” today, I’m sure he almost had a panic attack. He’s been my homie for 41 years. He knows everything about me. Including my sense of humor. The more I love you. The more I call you out. And I’m petty. Reaaaaaallly petty. Tom Petty has nothing on me. Richard Petty wishes he could be me.

For example, when I was 17, Nate was my summer baseball coach. Every single one of my friends was so pumped. They all love him. He’s a legend. We had a great summer together. But there was one game. And one “fight” between us. And I still call him out for being “the worst baseball coach in history.”

The old Tim would have used this opportunity to lovingly trash him (oh and I still will). But I can’t even begin to explain what this dude has been in my life. He’s guided me, protected me, made me laugh, made me cry. He’s beat the shit out of me but also bailed me out when I’m handcuffed in down town Phoenix for going HAM on someone who called him a three letter f word.

He is a father of 7. You read that right. Him and his beautiful wife do not use the word “step.” So the oldest two (who are amazing freaking kids) came when he was blessed enough to meet Mandi. 3 of the coolest kids on the block. Then decided that wasn’t enough. These people are foster parents y’all.

FOSTER PARENTS.

Big Z and Lil Z. So yeah. 7. And they roll 7 deep.

There is no possible way I would be alive today without his love, compassion, and support.

I am only able to do the work that I am trying to do because this awesome no freaking neck of a man that steals beer cheese and is a shitty baseball coach.

I said this early today when I met my wife’s friends for a birthday party.

If we weren’t brothers, we would still be best friends anyway.

And no, he doesn’t enable me in a bad way…… He let’s me be as crazy as I want (as long as I don’t climb too high in a tree, seriously, ask me that story, its awesome)

We can take care of the next generation together because of this dude right here. Much love Nathan.
